Guiding Principles Exemplar Award Nominees – December 2020

As the year comes to a close, CampusWorks is proud to recognize six awesome team members who were nominated by their peers for the Guiding Principles Exemplar Award. These individuals demonstrate the highest standards of service and collaboration with clients and colleagues. Please join us in celebrating their outstanding accomplishments…

Jeff Adcock | Technology Leverage Executive Leader

Principles recognized:

» If it is good for the client, it is good for CampusWorks.
» We do what we say we do.
» We work with, not around.
» We are compassionate.
» Integrity & ethics are the basis for advancing our business.
» We respect diversity, experience, innovation, & courage.

Why he was nominated:

“Jeff always tells his team members ‘do what is right, not what is easy.’ He is constantly going above and beyond for the client—they are getting so much more than they imagined and we’re meeting every timeline. He is inclusive in everything he does. He pushes his team to be better, learn more, and think more critically. He has shown me what a true, natural, compassionate, hard-working boss looks like. Even though our office is small, we are making a huge difference–it wouldn’t have been this big without him in charge. He is the best boss I have ever had.”

Tracy Cosker | Senior Optimization Executive

Principles recognized:

» If it is good for the client, it is good for CampusWorks.
» We do what we say we do.
» Our people and results distinguish us.
» We are a team. You are never alone.

Why she was nominated:

“Tracy delivers exemplary service because she starts by truly listening to customers to understand what they are looking for and what they are striving to achieve. She makes their goals her own, and she demonstrates a genuine sense of ownership in the quality of the customer’s experience. She contributes her insight, creativity, and expertise to each facet of delivery to truly make it exceptional and exceed expectations. She is such a positive, reliable, others-centered, and collaborative team member; she is a true asset to the CampusWorks team!”

Alex Larzabal | Senior Technologist

Principles recognized:

» Our people and results distinguish us.
» We are a team. You are never alone.

Why he was nominated:

“Alex’s work is always exceptional, and he is frequently recognized for his outstanding client contributions. What sets him apart is that the word ‘I’ is largely absent from his vocabulary. He is a tireless coach and leader who helps his peers solve difficult and complex problems. When he describes the work being done he uses the word ‘we’. He does not let people get stuck, whether they are on our team or the client’s. He is always ‘all in’. Alex’s work sets the gold standard.”

Lynne Lipper | Project Manager

Principles recognized:

» If it is good for the client, it is good for CampusWorks.
» We work with, not around.
» We are a team. You are never alone.

Why she was nominated:

“Lynne is tenacious when it comes to accomplishing her client’s goals. She builds and maintains trusting relationships with leadership and staff at the institution she serves. She is detail-oriented, keeping her project on track and on budget by pushing vendors as well as college leadership and staff. Her direct nature, strong social skills, and commitment to client success are a rare combination that contribute to her ability to consistently deliver with excellence. We are fortunate to have her on the team.”

Patrick McLaughlin | Sr. Optimization Executive & Project Manager

Principles recognized:

» If it is good for the client, it is good for CampusWorks.
» We do what we say.
» Our people and results distinguish us.
» We are a team. You are never alone.

Why he was nominated:

“Patrick embraces every assignment with passion and leadership, distinguishing himself as an informed professional dedicated to serving clients and their students. He establishes connections in so many ways, having ‘served in a job just like theirs’ and by relating to pain points with firsthand accounts from his unique experiences as a registrar and university official. He empathizes with the feelings of being burdened or overwhelmed by systems that appear not to work well and has a unique way of getting people to lower their guard so we can understand the improvements needed in their business processing. Patrick’s amazing ability to connect, sense of humor, and capacity to hit a home run on every project always distinguish him.”

Teri Weston | Sr. Optimization Executive

Principles recognized:

» Our people & results distinguish us.
» We are a team. You are never alone.
» If it is good for the client, it is good for CampusWorks.

Why she was nominated:

“Teri is the epitome of a professional consultant, a trusted advisor and supportive colleague. She is always open to new opportunities and has worked across the company’s portfolio. With her expertise in ‘student’ systems and processes, she was a logical fit for a recent CRM Assessment. She brought her trademark positivity and collegial approach to the engagement. As a collaborator, she sought out opportunities to work across all aspects of the engagement and with each of the other consultants on the team. Instead of gravitating to areas that aligned closely with her strengths, she voiced her desire to stretch and take on the CRM Vendor Showcase as this was an area where she saw opportunity to learn and grow. We can now add this client to the growing list of clients who are her fans.”
