CampusWorks’ “Happy Campus” Workplace Earns Great Place to Work® for Fourth Year in a Row

Sarasota, FL, February 20, 2024 — CampusWorks is proud to be recertified by Great Place to Work® for the fourth year in a row. Great Place to Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation.

“Great Place To Work® Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work®. She emphasizes that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that CampusWorks stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”

Last year, CampusWorks continued to experience phenomenal growth, hiring 88 new employees and almost doubling in size for the second year in a row. As CampusWorks continues to grow in clients, service offerings, and staff, leadership is still more committed than ever to preserving the company’s people-first culture. Great Place to Work® has been instrumental in providing best practices for maintaining the culture and in focusing on the importance of employee satisfaction.

“Record-breaking employee referrals and an all-time high retention rate reflect our commitment to providing a ‘happy campus’ for our CampusWorkers,” said CampusWorks CEO Liz Murphy. “Because we are wholeheartedly dedicated to the personal and professional success of each and every employee, this recertification shows that the commitment to our people-first culture is successful as well.”

CampusWorks uses nine Guiding Principles to represent what is expected from one another as colleagues and what is expected when providing service to clients. These Guiding Principles are woven into the fabric of the CampusWorks culture, so much so that several employees are awarded a “Guiding Principle Designation” each month and recognized for their contributions.

“One of the things I most appreciate about CampusWorks are the ideas that we really support one another, we make sure that everyone recognizes they have talents, and that we make sure we not only apply those talents to the clients we serve, but to each other,” said JP Spagnolo, Executive Account Director.

As CampusWorks navigates the increasingly volatile higher education industry, CampusWorks continues to grow and thrive in large part due to the group of talented, innovative, and happy employees. They say the secret sauce to success lies in the strength of their people and culture, which is apparent in their client satisfaction score of 94%, a referenceable score of 96%, and a trust index of 96%.

“Behind every great CampusWorker is a supportive family. We recognize all that it takes for our employees to give their best to every client and we celebrate each employee and their family for their contribution to our high client satisfaction,” said CampusWorks Executive Director of Human Resources Cris Lloyd.

According to Great Place to Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits, and have a fair chance at promotion.
