Welcome, Dr. Daniel Corr
CampusWorks is pleased to announce that Daniel P. Corr, Ed.D., Vice Provost for Academic Alliances at Arizona State University and former President of Arizona Western College, has joined the CampusWorks Executive Advisory Board.
Dr. Corr brings nearly four decades of experience spanning higher education leadership, workforce development, student success, academic affairs, and community partnerships. Throughout his career, he has been a strong advocate for expanding educational access, strengthening pathways between institutions, and creating programs that respond to the evolving needs of students, communities, and employers.
In his current role at Arizona State University, Dr. Corr leads efforts to strengthen relationships with community colleges across Arizona and nationally. His work includes creating seamless transfer pathways, collaborating with colleges and industry on workforce programs, pursuing joint grant opportunities, and expanding college-going opportunities throughout the state.
Prior to joining ASU, Dr. Corr served for 10 years as President of Arizona Western College, a Hispanic-Serving Institution serving communities throughout Yuma and La Paz counties. During his presidency, he led strategic planning, championed instructional and administrative technology, strengthened university and community partnerships, expanded pathways to baccalaureate completion, and positioned the college to respond to changing workforce and community needs.
His earlier leadership roles include nine years as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs at Scottsdale Community College, as well as administrative positions at William Rainey Harper College, Waubonsee Community College, and Prairie State College. Across these institutions, Dr. Corr led initiatives focused on student retention and completion, dual enrollment, developmental education, workforce programming, transfer, accreditation, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning. He has also taught graduate-level courses in higher education leadership and administration.

As a member of the CampusWorks Executive Advisory Board, Dr. Corr will join a distinguished group of higher education leaders who provide strategic insight into the challenges and opportunities facing colleges and universities. Their perspectives help CampusWorks remain closely connected to institutional priorities and continually strengthen the ways it supports higher education leaders navigating transformation.
“Having worked with CampusWorks for many years during my time as president of Arizona Western College, I’ve experienced firsthand the value of having a partner that understands the realities facing higher education leaders,” said Dr. Corr. “I’m excited to now contribute that perspective as a member of the Executive Advisory Board and help CampusWorks continue to evolve alongside the institutions it serves.”
Dr. Corr holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration from Argosy University, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Governors State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
