The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) has extended CampusWorks contract to provide IT management and planning services.
October 4, 2007 - The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system has renewed and expanded their contract for technology management and planning services with CampusWorks Inc. (CWI).
In March of 2007, as part of its ongoing work to continuously improve its IT services, MnSCU contracted with CampusWorks to optimize its IT organizational structure and improve the IT governance structure/prioritization processes. This initial selection was based on an extensive due diligence of CampusWorks track record and IT staff expertise in performing similar IT planning services.
Last week, and based on CampusWorks superb performance during the initial contract, Vice Chancellor Ken Niemi extended the CampusWorks contract for additional services. CampusWorks will now provide guidance for a variety of IT organizational strategy and transition initiatives.
Dr. Ray Neff will continue to be responsible for the oversight of this account and Annie Stunden, CampusWorks IT specialist, will work directly with the IT leadership at MnSCU to help achieve their IT goals.
The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system (MnSCU) comprises 32 state universities and community and technical colleges throughout Minnesota. The system serves about 240,000 students per year in credit-based courses and an additional 130,000 students in non-credit courses.
